Konichiwa Panda is an International K-Pop band formed in early 2012 by Leadvocalist Alexander Schulze through a Producer who introduced the future band members to eachother. Konichiwa Panda became an official Kpop College Group in 2014.
The band made their breakthrough with the song "Fujiko" which took part at the Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection for Svizzerland in 2012. This song was nominated as one of the 4 best songs of the year. Konichiwa Panda shared the same stage as Superstars Justin Bieber, One Direction, Selena Gomez, Olly Murs, Rita Ora, Marina & The Diamonds and Bruno Mars.

Einflüsse
The Music of Konichiwa Panda is higly influenced by the Asian Culture. Most of the inspirations are coming from the Korean Pop Scene, Animes and Mangas with whom Alex grew up. The androgynous Fashion and voice of leader Alex are comparable as a mix between the Japanese Kawaii and the British New Romantic and Punk Fashion scene. The Music style of Konichiwa Panda is often compared to 80's bands such as A-Ha and Culture Club or to K-Pop Megastar G-Dragon.
